Stakeholders working with the Fairgrounds Reimagined master planning team have been meeting every two weeks since July. The group is composed of individuals from the areas surrounding the Fairgrounds who have been working in some capacity to improve the neighborhoods around the Fairgrounds, including representatives from nonprofits, neighborhood associations, and area residents and business owners.
On August 20, stakeholders were taken on a tour of the Fairgrounds led by Expo NM staff, to better understand the magnitude of the property and its potential.
