How can our future Fairgrounds drive local business growth?
Earlier this month, business leaders from around the Fairgrounds and the greater Albuquerque area took part in a virtual roundtable to discuss how the potential of our Fairgrounds can help local businesses thrive.
Panelists included:
- Sharmin Dharas – owner of Hotel Zazz
- Jocelyn Chao – owner of Talin Market
- Adrian Carver – executive director of Revitalize San Pedro
- Marty Chavez – former Albuquerque Mayor
Each panel member discussed critical elements for our future Fairgrounds and shared their thoughts and concerns on the discussion concepts that were recently shared. Participants asked questions and shared their own feedback as well. One consistent worry for many of the participants was lack of parking on the concepts and traffic congestion in the area.
