The Albuquerque Journal published the results of a recent poll from the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA) indicating strong support and potential for “a major entertainment or sports development; retail and restaurants; and mixed-use office development.”
“In an area that has been underinvested in for a long time, we think any meaningful development can help build momentum, and the strongest outcome would result from several of these investments happening together. A major sports or entertainment development can fuel all of that through the (area’s Tax Increment Development District) while also drawing more people and investment to the surrounding neighborhood.” – said Rebecca Latham, vice president of project development at HB Construction.
