On January 8, KUNM’s Lets Talk New Mexico hosted a discussion about our Fairgrounds Reimagined. Guests on the show included:
- Peter Belletto, President, District 6 Coalition of Neighborhood Associations
- Martin Chavez, former Albuquerque Mayor spearheading the redevelopment project for Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham
- Nichole Rogers, City Councilor, Albuquerque District 6
Guests spoke about a variety of topics including what sorts of amenities we need for the surrounding areas, how investment could revitalize those areas without displacing under-resourced neighbors, how we can balance the community benefits, and how to best prioritize land use along this part of the central corridor.
